I was in need of a gift for a family member who is a hardcore Mortal Kombat fan. I decided on creating a Mortal Kombat LED lightbox using the logo since it would be a low-sourced project. The majority of the materials I had on hand and only needed to find the perfect LEDs for the project. Below you’ll find a list of tools and materials used for this project and a quick video of the assembling process. Hope you enjoy it!

Materials Used:

  • 5 sheets of 12×12″ 1/4-inch plywood
  • Flame flicker light kit
  • Behr paint in red, yellow, white or any acrylic paint in these colors
  • Rust-oleum 2x ultra cover spray paint in black
  • Rust-oleum 2x ultra cover grey primer
  • Gorilla wood glue or any wood glue
  • Sawtooth hook and screws
